With scrap fabric and glue in her hands, she made a prototype of the purse with changeable outside handles and showed these to her friend, Annette Cavaness. Annette cherished the prototypes and became helpful in producing a company plan, further establishing the item, and in accessing a sourcing agent as well as a patent lawyer.
